För synpunkter - reviderad DPS för .SE /Referral - revised DPS from .SE

by Anne-Marie Eklund-Löwinder

Med vänlig hälsning Anne-Marie Eklund Löwinder Kvalitets- och säkerhetschef .SE (Stiftelsen för Internetinfrastruktur) Adress: Ringvägen 100 Postadress: Box 7399, 103 91 Stockholm Växel: 08-452 35 00 Direkt: 08-452 35 17 Mobil: 0734-31 53 10 E-post: anne-marie.eklund-lowinder(a)iis.se Webbplats: http://www.iis.se Hello, .SE has revised its DNSSEC Policy and Practice Statement as a preparation for the implementation of a system for automatic key generation and signing, OpenDNSSEC. This document is .SE’s statement of security actions and practices that are applied in conjunction with DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) in the Swedish top-level domain. The document conforms to the Internet draft http://www.ietf.org/id/draft-ietf-dnsop-dnssec-dps-framework-00.txt, DNSSEC Policy & Practice Statement Framework, which we expect to become a RFC in a nearby future. http://www.iis.se/dl/DPS-PA7-ENG.pdf To get the opinion on the document from the Internet community and other stakeholders opinion we kindly ask you of your suggestions, comments and opinions as soon as possible, but no later than March 19th. Please, send them to anne-marie.eklund-lowinder(a)iis.se Thank you in advance for your assistance! Uppskjuten KSK-rullning för .SE/Postponed KSK key rollover in .SE

by Anne-Marie Eklund-Löwinder

Information in English follow. In deference to upcoming changes in our DNSSEC signing environment, .SE will for practical reasons postpone the KSK key rollover which usually takes place by the turn of the year until later during Spring 2010. In practice it doesn’t bring any technical difficulties to those who uses .SE as a Trust Anchor. The key generated 2008 (Key id = 49678) will be unvalid from 2010-01-01 and will be removed 2010-02-01 whereas the key generated 2009 (Key id 8779) will continuously be in use to sign the .SE-zone during 2010 or until anything else is announced. Keys are available through IANA’s ITAR https://itar.iana.org/ They are also available at https://www.iis.se/docs/ksk.txt We do advice you to subscribe to the dnssec-announce(a)lists.nic.se mailing list to get notified about key rollovers and any other important changes. Invitation to DNSSEC and IPv6 workshop 20th October

by Anne-Marie Eklund-Löwinder

Dear All! Firstly, I apoligize if this message already has reached you trough other mailing lists. Secondly, on behalf of .SE I would like to invite you to our DNSSEC and IPv6 workshop 20th October. .SE has now had several years of DNSSEC experience, and we feel that it is time to speed up development of new tools and deployment of DNSSEC among other TLD's, registrars and nameserver operators. We would like to offer our colleagues who are thinking of DNSSEC deployment an unique opportunity to learn more from .SE's experience. Our ambition is to give an indepth insight of our deployment with help of our registrars, ISP's and other stakeholders. Furthermore we will have some very interesting presentations and test results to present regarding IPv6. We would be very honoured if you will come to "sunny Sockholm" and participate. http://www.internetdagarna.se/program/dnssec-and-ipv6-workshop-20-oct Kind regards, Anne-Marie Eklund Löwinder Quality & Security Manager .SE (The Internet Infrastructure Foundation) PO Box 7399, SE-103 91 Stockholm, Sweden Phone: +46 (0)8-452 35 00/17 Mobile: +46 (0)734 315 310 E-mail: anne-marie.eklund-lowinder(a)iis.se Web: www.iis.se

Important information about DNSSEC Test Agreement

by Anne-Marie Eklund-Löwinder

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The first phase of NIC-SE:s restricted tests with DNSSEC-signed zones is coming to an end. During the test period we haven't had any contact with either domain holders nor their technical contact except from a few support calls regarding certificates for identification in Keyman. No complaints what so ever about interface, procedures, administration etc have reached us. NIC-SE is therefore prepared to go further into a second phase of tests. Anyone who likes to take part in the DNSSEC tests need to fill in, sign and fax to NIC-SE, +46 8 4523502, a test agreement found at http://dnssec.nic.se/docs/test-agreement-en.pdf (in English) http://dnssec.nic.se/docs/test-agreement-sv.pdf (in Swedish) The new agreement is valid from 2006-02-01 until 2007-01-31. It is not yet decided what will happen after this. Note that NIC-SE does not commit to actually introduce DNSSEC after the test period has been concluded.
